The European Union Delegation to Tajikistan, as Chair of the Donor Coordination Council, held a strategic briefing ahead of its meeting with Deputy Minister of Education and Science Badriddin Muzaffarzoda to discuss priorities for implementing the National Strategy for Education Development 2021–2030.
Key priorities include institutionalizing four annual DCC meetings to strengthen sector coordination and positioning LEG.tj as the central platform for advancing Competency-Based Education reform.
The European Union also emphasized support for digital transformation, including the rollout of e-Attestation.tj to modernize teacher certification, development of an “AI-first readiness” approach in education, and scaling the 10-point grading system nationwide.
Further efforts will focus on strengthening monitoring and quality assurance through digital data tools, as well as expanding capacity-building initiatives based on the successful “Master Trainer” model implemented during PISA 2025 preparations.
The EU reaffirms its commitment to supporting evidence-based, transparent, and forward-looking education reforms in Tajikistan.
