Description
The “Magic Box” platform is developed in collaboration between UNICEF, Microsoft, The University of Cambridge and the Ministry of Education and Science. It is a cloud based-Microsoft Assure digital education platform.
The platform serves local, contextualized content, like ECE national curriculum, as well as supplementary educational content. The content available to preschool children includes online books, videos, and additional support for parents of children with learning disabilities.
A new solution designed to close the learning poverty gap and enable continuous access to education for 890,000 children in Tajikistan.
The “Magic Box” platform serves local, contextualized content, like preschool national curriculum, as well as supplementary educational content, such as practical activities and games, digital skills, to improve learning outcomes and pedagogy. Every user will have a personalized record of their learning history, which is unique to them and can be taken across physical and digital borders.
Parents can learn more about how to support the learning and development of young children ages 3 to 6 years old with games, activities, tips, and guidance on a variety of topics, including how to support children with disabilities and from ethnic minorities.
1. Pre-schools digital education platform “Sanduqchai Zulbiyo” https://tomaktabi.tj/ piloted in selected districts of Khalon and Sughd regions and launched at the national level.
2. 31 preschool facilities were equipped with a set of identified ICT equipment and connectivity across all the regions.
